A scallop shell with the ribs fanning out from a hinge at the base, the ridges deep enough to throw real shadow between them. At 35 by 32mm and 33 grams a pair these are the largest and heaviest of our shell earrings, so they want a bare neck and hair back. The Gold Shell Studs are the smaller version if this is too much. 14K gold on stainless steel, so they never have to come off.
